Version 2.17 of Blobble Write has now been released. This version includes a direction indicator for the stroke start and an updated about page.
After getting feedback from schools and parents and observing more and more children using the Blobble Write app it became obvious that we needed to include an option to help children with starting strokes. There was already the option of displaying a flashing blob at the stroke start but we wanted to add something to indicate the stroke direction too. As of v2.17 there is now an optional direction indicator for the start of the stroke. In addition to the red flashing blob that indicates the stroke start the app can also display an animated arrow line in the stroke direction.
In the settings page you can now choose to display either nothing, a flashing blob or a flashing blob and arrow line at each stroke start.
We’ve added a ‘What’s new’ tab to the settings page. This gives users information about the latest features that have been added to the app.
You can get the latest version from the iTunes app store.
